Hazel Denise House Inc. is planting roots in two foundational areas to spark real transformation:

  • Aging Out of Foster Care – Because when the system ends, life begins. We’re creating transitional housing, mentorship, and support to help young adults step into stability, success, and purpose. 
  • Community Resource Center – A centralized space for workforce development, mental health services, financial literacy, healing groups, food access, and more. A hub of HOPE for Chicago’s underserved neighborhoods.

RESOURCE CENTER

The Hazel Denise House Resource Center is a future hub of transformation created to equip, educate, and empower young adults, primarily those aging out of the foster care system- with the tools needed to build stable, healthy, and purpose-filled lives. Until the full transitional home is established, the Resource Center will serve as the foundation of the vision by providing career development, AI and technology training, financial literacy and money management, domestic and life skills, relational development, time management, health and wellness education, mentorship, accountability, identity development, and integrity-based leadership training. The center will also connect individuals to critical community resources and referrals while teaching them how to become responsible, self-sustaining, and confident in their future.
